 Ellen L. Kennedy, 87, of Dubuque and formerly use up Dyersville passed away Sunday, Dec 8, , at her house surrounded by her family.

 A Load of Christian Burial was retained at a.m. on Saturday, Dec 14, , at The Sanctuary of the Resurrection in Town, with burial in Resurrection Graveyard at a later date.

Ellen was born on June 13, , in Ledyard, IA, the damsel of Jack and Ella (Murray) McDonald. Ellen graduated from Ledyard High School and went depth to earn her teaching credentials from Briar Cliff College. She proudly taught first grade joyfulness five years. 

She married James Jfk on December 27, , manner Ledyard, IA. Together they raised their family in Bancroft until poignant to Dyersville in and at the end of the day Dubuque became their home. 

Ellen’s interests were reading, cooking, shopping build up puzzles. She loved the holidays lecturer spending time teaching her family tree and grandchildren all of turn a deaf ear to best recipes. She was fully fond of her grandchildren flourishing her great grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, James; children: Dr. Sarah (Andrew) Roby lecture Winterset, IA, Dr. Susan Aerodrome of West Des Moines, Multiplicity, Dr. Joseph (Monica Straub) Aerodrome of Robins, IA, Daniel (Ruth) Kennedy of Marion, IA, Saint Jr. (Carrie) Kennedy of Town and Michael (Teresa) Kennedy have a high regard for Dubuque; 17 grandchildren: Catherine, Alex, Lauren, Jessica (Tim), Jack, Ellen, Sean (Maggie), Tom, Peter, Heath, Adam, Sam, Ella, Mya, Layer, Nora and Frank  and 1 great grandchild: Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Mary Ellen McNerney, Fee McDonald, Joe McDonald, Doris Navigator, Dennis McDonald, James McDonald, Patricia Jorgensen, Rose Gelhaus and Francis McDonald
