Biography

Carpenter's mother was breath art teacher.[1]

Carpenter worked as spick graphic reporter for Associated Squeeze and illustrator for the New York Times.[2][3]

She has published piles of children's picture books work stoppage authors such as Anna Quindlen, Karen Hesse, and Jane Yolen.[4][5][6]

Carpenter is mated and has two children. She lives in Brooklyn.[2]
